Depending on the type of engraving, the size, and the material being engraved on, we will choose one of our laser systems that will best suit the need. Our CO2 laser is ideal for engraving on wood (charcuterie boards, signage, presentation boxes) as well as glass and slate. Our rotary system allows us to engrave items with a maximum diameter of 4.7″ (such as beer glasses, champagne flutes, tumblers, etc). We also utilize surface mapping technology for uneven surfaces, such as rock (yes we engrave rock!!) or inside of shallow bowls (up to a maximum 45 degree slope and 2.5″ variance in depth). With this amazing technology, the laser head moves in all three dimensions to ensure your engraving is consistent regardless of the surface variances.
Our Infra-red system is ideal for marking a wide variety of metals. Perfect for marking hockey skate blades (for anyone with teenagers who are mixing up their skate blades), or for trophy nameplates. The low heat generated by this system helps prevent any warpage that can be caused by the larger systems.
Our Diode systems were where we first started. While smaller in size and a lower power, they offer the ability to be portable so that engravings can be made in the center of large items, such as a table. We are also able to feed items through it so overall length is almost infinite.
